The business has almost twenty years experience and has clients ranging from ‘mum and dad’ customers needing basic assessments for a new home or small subdivision; corporate clients at all scales; state infrastructure bodies such as Sydney Water, NSW Water, and Integral Energy; government clients at local, state and federal levels; and non-government organisations such as public interest environmentalist groups.

The business provides an expert witness service in selected circumstances and has primarily worked with local government clients in this capacity.

The business is a small firm with low overheads and as a result, fees are often far lower than larger operators. ESP can do almost all of the ecological tasks that the large firms provide including project management such as co-ordination of consultancies and subcontractors. Co-ordination is important, even for the smallest jobs, because the correct sequencing of assessments from bushfire consultants, flora/fauna consultants, wastewater consultants, and architects, makes a project cheaper and smoother. ESP is experienced in ensuring that all of the relevant consultants and contractors work together, or at least in the correct sequence, to enable effective assessment and modification of your proposal.
